IT Consultant (Network Engineer/Technical Support)

We're looking for smart, customer service-oriented professionals with real-life experience to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues. IT consulting is the most important part of our business model.

The IT Consultant is in a position to help our small to medium-sized business customers operate more efficiently due to the proper use of today's technologies. In this role, you will not only identify technology solutions that will add productivity, but you will also implement those solutions. We are looking for candidates with strong customer-oriented consultative skills that also have strong technology and troubleshooting skills. You have the opportunity to work with hundreds of businesses, and this position is a great combination of both the consulting side and the technical side of the business.

Ideal candidate will have at least 4 years hand-on experience in the following: Ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software issues for both multiplatform desktops and servers (both PC and Mac preferred). Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win 9x, Win2K, WinXP, Vista, 7 and WinNT 4.0/Win2K/Win2003/2008 Server, Mac OS X, IIS, Exchange & SQL server, DNS, Cisco IOS. End-User and Help Desk experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Quickbooks, Act!, pcAnywhere, Windows and Mac OSs, antivirus, anti-spyware and antispam software and appliences, backup etc. Ability to design and implement virtualized infrastructure using insductry-standard virtualization technologies as vSphere/VI3.x, Hyper-V and Xen. Experience in troubleshooting LANs, Wireless LANs and WANs, switches and routers. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP. Experience in mobile technologies and devices setup (PocketPC, Blackerry, Palm, Windows Mobile, Symbian). Certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, MCSE, CNE, CCNA are a plus but not required on the beginning. If you do not have any certifications, you may be required to pass our internal test.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both multiplatform desktops and servers
* Implement network and infrastructure related projects for our clients
* Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems
* Perform analysis of IT needs at customer's locations
* Identify technology solutions based on analysis of customers' needs
* Strong and consistent communication with customers
* Documenting work performed and other technical information for our clients

Website and Graphic Designer

Some of our customers may need web development and/or design. We'll be happy to have your contact information if you are experienced in that area.

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following: Designing complete, fully functional web sites using HTML editors such as Dreamweaver. Experience developing sites from concept to design to publishing. Expertise in utilizing graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady and Illustrator in addition to possessing file compression experience. Experience with tools for dynamic content such as Macromedia Flash, Shockwave and Director as well as expertise in ActionScripting. Knowledge of PHP and/or .NET. Experience with streaming media, scripting with CGI, Java, Perl and knowledge of web servers such as IIS are a plus but not required.
